Our new Exclusive Bali Love Kimonos are inspired by artwork created by Ubud Artist Dewa from the shores of Indonesia.
Hand painted then digitally printed onto several different fabric samples, I wanted to create a soft sleek flowy look that captured the colours and that had a lustrous soft drape feel like silk without being hot to wear in our Australian Climate. We decided on an imported polyester blended satin fabric which is strong durable yet lightweight and soft and perfect to wear on cool and warm days.
The material is crafted using a weaving technique where at least four weft yarns float over a single warp yarn at a time. This floating creates the glossy appearance of the fabric.
Worn as resort wear, loungewear maternity or everyday wear. Each kimono comes with wrap tie and is designed with side pockets. I loved every step of production to finally create my first exclusive print for House of Boho and absolutely love the softness and feel when wearing mine. Wash care. Recommended Dry Clean or Soft hand wash in cold water. Hang to dry.
